Hey, hi, how have you been?
I haven't uploaded any new animation in (looks at date) 8 months so maybe some of y'all might've wondered where I've been and maybe some future plans for future content.
Basically after I've finished the very much late Halloween animation I didn't feel like making a Christmas themed one because It'd be a tight deadline and I wanted to shift my focus to school and exams and other things that 8th graders typically do however, I wanted to make an animation about winter since I thought it'd be an interesting topic and I could tell some winter-y stories, short ones I'll be it but somewhat interesting/funny ones based on previous experiences. I got to work nearing the end of winter break by making the script and recording the audio. By the end of January I've started on animation progress by animating 100 frames per day in my free time. Sounds like a good plan? I'd agree and it was. After maybe 600 or so frames I began to get pretty demotivated mostly because of online classes being a pain in the ass to attend to. I continued going and expected to get the animation out by late February. 1000 frames into the animation and suddenly I lose part of my progress. Very saddened by that I decided to take a week long break to get back into the swing of things. Returning to the lost progress that I had now had to re-draw felt really demotivating knowing that I could've been very much ahead. By late February I'd recovered some of the lost progress and began to feel really pressured to finish it quickly. I began feeling a bit burnt out due to school and some other things happening in my life. I know I've used school as an excuse but retaining good grades whilst also animating some complicated-ish scenes really felt exhausting even though people do this as their jobs full-time. Having all that negative emotional shit on my mind I began to get demotivated (for the 999th time in one project). I ended up cancelling the animation around early March since by that time it could've been considered spring already. After that I really felt like I didn't wanna do any animations since it could probably lead to my projects looking bad and rushed if I force myself to work when I don't want to. So here we are today. I haven't uploaded in quite some time BUT I do plan to get back into animation. A very special date is upon us and no it isn't 9/10/21. I just wanna make a dumb little animation about the 21st night of September. It isn't going to be a revolutionary piece of animation but something fun to do whilst also entertaining my audience and friends. It will release on the 21st so mark your calendars. After that's finished I want to make a little animation I've been thinking of doing since they announced Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. I want to animate my favorite track in the OST that being Route 216. I just believe it has so many ways I can animate it in and I REALLY want to animate it. It's probably coming near the release of those games or maybe early to mid November. After that I kinda don't know what I wanna do but I bet something will come up. I just wanted to give you guys a quick little update on the things coming and why I've disappeared from the internet.
